Reports, slips & member service

More of the work
your hall handles.

Give contractors a place to send in hours and slips, and give your staff a clear way to review them and follow up.

Monthly reporting

Fringe & national reports

Contractors enter each employee’s monthly hours and contribution elections. MemberHall calculates contributions using the rates your local has set, including totals for local and national benefit funds.

  • Set contribution rates by classification.
  • Review submissions and send them back for corrections.
  • Download the Excel report and look up earlier versions.

We’ll review your local’s report format and national-office requirements with you during setup.

When a job ends

Termination slips

Contractors submit the last day worked, reason, rehire eligibility, and whether a replacement is needed. The slip goes to the hall for review, with the option to email a copy to the member.

  • Review the slip or ask the contractor for a correction.
  • Keep the original submission and the hall’s review history.
  • After acknowledgment, add or return an eligible member to the out-of-work list.

Your staff controls the return to the list, so the next step stays with the hall.

Member payments

Dues payments

Let members pay dues online, one payment at a time or on an automatic schedule. Staff set dues rates by classification and can look up payment history when a member calls.

A member’s work record

Employment history

Look up where a member is working and see previous employers, classifications, projects, and employment dates. Recorded placements and approved terminations keep that history together.

Before you decide

Practical questions.
Straight answers.

Will it work with our dispatch rules?

We need to review them with you. MemberHall currently supports an out-of-work list, contractor requests, Job Bank interest, and staff-controlled placements. Multiple referral books, automated eligibility matching, and digital referral slips are planned features. We will identify any gaps before you commit.

Does this replace our accounting or apprenticeship system?

Full accounting and apprenticeship management are not included in the standard offer. We will review what you already use and agree which records and tasks belong in MemberHall. Custom connections and additional development need a separate scope.

How does contractor access work?

Contractors use a separate company portal to request workers and track progress. Union staff control request approval, publication, and placement. The launch setup keeps members’ personal contact information private.

Can members use it on their phones?

The launch offering includes native member apps for iPhone and Android, with membership information, Job Bank opportunities, union notices, and profile access. Staff and contractors use the web portal, which works on phones, tablets, and computers.

How do we move our existing records?

We start by reviewing a sample of your roster and its format, then agree what will be imported and what needs cleanup. You review the prepared records before launch. Complex migrations are quoted separately. We also agree on export and handoff requirements in your proposal.

Who handles training and support?

Jeremy Carlton at Techurai builds MemberHall and handles implementation, staff training, and technical support. Your proposal will spell out the included training, support contact, hours, and response expectations before you sign.
